Quarks to Quasars

First of all, you do not know me personally to say that I am trying hard to act something I am not. You do not have any idea of who I am, you don’t even know my whole name. (vice versa) Second, If you think that I am someone who tries to act like something I am not, Then, hmm. I don’t know, I cannot think of any logical reason for me to explain myself to you. Thus, If you really think I am a trying hard poser, and it really bothers you a lot, then, be it. If that will make you happy? Then, It’s okay. It’s your opinion.

This is perhaps, one of the greatest messages I received earlier today. I don’t know but, I find it very motivating. I am thinking about that suggestion, I have to be in my best first. I really want to help, especially those in need. This just made my day. Thank you so much.

To all the other messages and compliments, Thank YOU! :)

Do you have any tips on staying motivated with your studies? I'm currently in year 12 but i'm starting to become very lazy and I am very much happy with my subjects

Have an inspiration, a goal, or a target. Be inspired, connect what you do, with the different concepts you have in school. Motivations can be intrinsic, or extrinsic. Have something that will personally keep you going.

Why do my eyes close when I sneeze?

Ah, the elusive achoo — there’s much mystery surrounding our sternutation reflex, a.k.a. the sneeze.

Sneezing protects our nasal passageways from foreign particles by forcing a 100 mph whoosh of air from the lungs, but the reflex demands more movement than that. When stimulated, the brain stem’s sneeze center orders muscle contraction from esophagus to sphincter. That includes the muscles controlling your eyelids. Some sneezers even shed a few tears.

No one knows why. It’s possible the body has grown to associate protecting the nasal passageways with protecting the eye, or it may just be a result of our body’s wiring. Nor do scientists know why some people sneeze at bright lights, or why the reflex is pleasurable to some but not others. Whatever its workings, the sneeze has the distinction of being the only reflex that warrants a “bless you” from total strangers.*

Why don't you have a boyfriend?

Because at the moment, Career > love-life. :)

Was he your perfect guy....?

I dunno. But you know what, when I look in his eyes, and he looks back in mine, everything feels not quite normal, because I feel strong, and weak at the same time. I feel excited, and at the same time terrified. The truth is I don’t know the way I feel, except that I know the kind of woman I want to be. ♥

Hello there! Sorry if this question is weird but basically, ever since I was a little kid I was fascinated by physics and astronomy and wanted to learn physics, I however told myself I wasn't enough of a "genius" to. It wasn't until recently that I started personal study, and really enjoyed it. I'm a senior in highschool, and don't have the most rigorous course load due to attendance issues, but I've realized I really want to go off to college to study physics. Do you happen to have any advice?

Let me share you this quote by Isaac Asimov,  ”And above all things, never think that you’re not good enough yourself. A man should never think that. My belief is that in life people will take you at your own reckoning. ” So don’t you ever think you are not good enough, however, make places and room for self development. It is good that you aim and wanting for more knowledge, to be able to do that you must exert tremendous effort, because if you really want something, you have to work for it, right?

Study college and have physics, if this will make you happy, then go for it. :)

I am not so sure if this will help you though. :D

Do you track post tagged on your url?

Yes, however, it’s not working with expose-the-light, Tag expose the light with spaces instead of expose-the-light with hyphens.

Thank you anon. :)

Have you heard of Space Engine? It's a neat little program where you can explore the universe, and everything is modelled as well as it can possibly be to real life physics. It's a lot of fun to play with and can produce some beautiful shots.
